Outboard Survey - $300

The Outboard Survey consists of a Professional Diagnostic ECU Scan, Cylinder Compression Check, Engine and Gear Oil Inspection and Visual Inspection.

The Diagnostic Scan will display engine operating hours and times in each rpm range. It will also display any fault codes and warnings.

The Cylinder Compession Check will evaluate the condition of the upper engine. It will indicate any potential ring or seal problems.

Engine and Gear Oil will be visually inspected for contamination, water, signs of burnt oil and break-down.

The Outboard will be visually evaluated to determine if any issues exist or signs of potential problems.

When to Survey?

It is recommended to have an Outboard Survey completed after the 20 Hour Break-in to identify any potential problems early on in the engine life.

It is also recommended prior to purchasing a used boat or outboard to determine the operating condition of the engine.

It can also be completed as a preventative measure to identify potential problems early before costly repairs or your outboard leaves you stranded.
